I switched from personal WhatsApp to WhatsApp Business. I added my business name: “Sautiyapesa”. I set a professional profile picture — my face, not a logo. I wrote a bio: “Helping Kenyan hustlers grow without ads.”

Step 2: I Set Up Auto-Replies for Common Questions

People kept asking:

• “Do you have a website?”
• “How much do you charge?”
• “Can you help me with my M-Pesa receipts?”

I created 3 auto-replies:

• Website? “Yes! Check out my blog: sautiaypesa.co.ke/blog”
• Price? “I help you fix your business — no charge. Just reply ‘yes’.”
• M-Pesa receipts? “Send me your last 3 receipts. I’ll fix them in 5 mins.”

Now, every time someone messages me — they get an instant answer.

Step 3: I Used WhatsApp Status Like a Billboard

I post 1 Status per day — every morning at 8 AM.

Examples:

• “Today I helped a woman turn her Ksh 200 profit into Ksh 800. Here’s how.”
• “Stop chasing clients. Start being found.”
• “I made Ksh 12,000 last week. No ads. Just WhatsApp.”

Each one links to a blog post. People click. They read. They reply.

Step 4: I Let My Content Do the Selling

I stopped saying: “Hire me.” I started saying: “Here’s what worked for me.”

Every blog post I write? I share it on WhatsApp Status. Every time someone replies “yes,” I send them the next post. No sales pitch. Just value.
